Radiesse is a brand of Biostimulatory Filler that induces collagen production while simultaneously giving you immediate volume restoration. Traditional Hyaluronic Acid fillers give immediate volume but degrade over time, requiring you to replace the filler in 6mo to 2 years in order to maintain the effect. Radiesse is composed of calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) microspheres suspended in a water-based gel and because CaHA is a substance that occurs naturally in the human body, this makes Radiesse biocompatible. CAHA is injected into the skin to produce immediate volume and/or wrinkle correction and is then replaced by the body’s own collagen over the course of 6-8 weeks.
Radiesse can be used to give a more youthful appearance by injecting it into the cheeks, along the jawline and lower face. It can soften the appearance of nasolabial folds and marionette lines and can also be used to add volume to the buttocks, dorsal hands, anterior knees, abdomen and neck.
It is a longer lasting, more natural alternative to Hyaluronic Filler but does require more than one treatment which is why we suggest buying a package.
