This one is for my melanated people! Laser hair removal has never been an option for me because of my darker skin tone. Ya’ll times have changed! I heard Renew You MedSpa & IV Bar has the newest technology and that with it, laser hair removal for a sista like me, can happen. I was skeptical that the technology would work. And I wasn’t sure if Renew You would have the professionals that understood different skin tones need different things. But, I have been looking for a hair removal solution for so long, I took a chance on Renew You MedSpa. The spa is gorgeous. A fresh, new, and inviting space. I was warmly greeted when I walked in and immediately noticed the professionals all around the space were of several different “tones”. All the staff are professional, approachable and beautiful (they obviously use their products). My laser hair removal was done by Co-owner Anh. During the procedure she was knowledgeable, comforting, and thorough. She explained the technology, why it works on my skin, and continuously checked my comfort level. I noticed changes after one session. Not only did hair not come back for a couple weeks, it came in sparse. I’m almost half way through sessions and the way it’s going, I’m not going to need to complete them all. I can’t wait to take advantage of all the other aesthetic and wellness options offered. I love the space. More importantly, I am comfortable they know the needs of us pigmented people! I trust them. Thank you Renew You Med Spa & IV Bar. No more traveling to Boston for self care. I started going to Renew You Med Spa about a year ago. Ahn did an extensive skin analysis and talked to me free of charge before I decided to go. Her expertise, professionalism and honesty assured me if I was going to spend my money this was the place to do it. Ahn listened to my wishes and helped form a plan that worked for my skin and my budget! They have their membership plan which honestly pays for itself. I got a Diamond glow facial with Olivia the other day and she was also amazing and professional. She gave me recommendations for skin care items but did not try to upsell me and told me what would be the most beneficial. It’s a beautiful space that they recently added onto and it has a cozy and friendly feel. I’m always greeted so happily and everyone seems happy to be there.

I’ve had 2 facials with Olivia so far and have a 3rd scheduled. She’s amazing, takes great care of my skin and is so knowledgeable. Her massages are unbelievable, I love that part!! Red light therapy afterwards has really helped my 50 year old skin. Highly recommend Renew!

I’m currently halfway through my laser hair removal series at Renew You (three out of six treatments) and I already am happy with the difference. I have naturally dark, thick hair and used to have to shave my underarms every 2–3 days. Now, I’ve gone several days in a row without even thinking about shaving, and the reduction in hair growth has been incredible. The new laser they’re using is really nice. Each session is unbelievably quick, and I’m honestly surprised by how easy the treatments have been. The staff walks me through every step, checks in frequently, and makes the whole experience feel easy and relaxed. You can definitely feel the laser as it goes, but it is not painful and I haven’t had any down time or irritation. If this is the progress I’m seeing at the halfway point, I can only imagine how the final results will be. I’m so glad I chose Renew as they’ve made the process fast, comfortable, and easy.

Absolutely LOVE my experience at Renew you! My skin has NEVER looked better and I am 48! Monthly dermaglow facials followed by a 20 red light therapy session is worth every penny! Olivia’s face and head massage is off the charts! Highly recommend!
